The Counsellor is designed to sit beside the Mirror Ascent experience, not apart from it. A user who creates or enters an account for The Counsellor uses the same Mirror Ascent identity that can be used for the game.

That matters because people do not want to manage a different identity for every door they enter. One account reduces friction and keeps access easier to understand. The counsellor service still keeps its own privacy boundaries around session records and transcripts.

The shared account model does not mean every private conversation becomes game content. Chat transcripts are not stored by default, and the user can download their own transcript if they want to keep it. The account link is about identity and access, not turning private reflection into public play.

This creates a cleaner path: enter Mirror Ascent, book a private session, use the same account, and return to the wider city when you are ready.

A good private room should feel connected to the city without making the city a witness.
